What mountains seem to open up the earliest for snowboarding and skiing in the north east?

Summer is almost officially over. Supopsedly its snowing already in Utah. I’m getting excited about this upcoming snowboarding season. Anyone know the best places in the north east (New England) early in the season or which one usually opens first? Around what date?

whiteface.
historically Jay Peak in northern vermont gets the most snow the earliest…
killington, vermont has good snowmaking machines so they can get some trails covered top to botton by thanksgiving
There is actually a little known place here in CT that is frequently the first to open in the east, and sometimes the first in the country. It’s in Woodbury, CT.I remember one season I was riding before Halloween.
Other than that, most of the others seem to open up within a week or 2 of each other around the beginning of December.
Killington is where I go. It is open from as early as Thanksgiving to as late as June! Great macines, great mountain, perfect trails, AMAZING pipe, and the town is sik. Pop into Darkside Snowboards if youre up htere. Billy will hook you up with whatever you need. The barn is great for some drinks, and hit outback pizza for great food, free popcorn, and live entertainment after a long day shredding. Ive been going there since i was 8 and still love it five years later. Happy Shredding!
